Fārsi-ye Dehxodā (1)
A coursebook for the foreign learners of Persian
It includes a textbook, workbook, and CD. The textbook consists of four parts: the first part of the book deals with teaching the Persian alphabet and sounds, and the second part of the book is dedicated to teaching the language. The second section is organized into twelve lessons, each of which is dedicated to one of the topics needed in social life. Therefore, this part of the book deals with conversational skills including daily conversations, vocabulary teaching, situational dialogues, reading comprehension, listening comprehension, as well as writing. The third part is the workbook and we have tried to consider useful exercises for each lesson. The fourth section of the book is devoted to the verbs used in the lessons, and the last section provides illustrations related to the topics of the twelve lessons of the second section. This textbook is prepared for adults who have no previous knowledge of the Farsi language.
This plan is designed for a seventy-five-hour training course, and the ultimate goal is for language learners to be able to read simple texts by learning the Persian alphabet at the end of the course and to speak, using simple Farsi language structures in real situations, and meet their basic needs in the Farsi-speaking community.
